A family timber business, built on European oak
Vienna Woods Ltd is New Zealand owned and operated. We started in 2009 and we are still a family business, run by a small, experienced team who care about timber, detail and getting the specification right.
Our core floors are premium European oak, engineered overseas to our own specification, then finished to order. Alongside those collections we carry genuinely European-made ranges, including Foundation held in stock and reclaimed European oak, so there is a floor to suit most briefs and budgets.
We supply three ways: retail direct to homeowners, trade to architects, designers and builders, and a growing reseller and wholesale network across New Zealand. Whichever way you reach us, you get the same product advice and the same dependable supply.

We do not stock everything. We choose a focused range of European oak in plank, herringbone and chevron, plus aged and reclaimed options, so every colour and grade earns its place.

Named for the Vienna Woods
Our name comes from the Vienna Woods, the Wienerwald, a protected forest on the edge of Vienna and part of a UNESCO-designated biosphere reserve.
It stands for a long European respect for forests and craft, and it is the standard we hold our suppliers to when we choose a range.
