Every board is a multi-ply engineered build in European oak, lightly brushed, with a 0.5mm micro-bevel and a tongue-and-groove profile, laid glue-down. Finish Hardwax Oil or Lacquer. Warranty 20 years residential.
Distilled is milled to order in Europe, so allow roughly 3-4 months from order, an estimate that can move with production and shipping.
The four formats above are what we run as standard, not the limit. Other sizes and profiles can be made to order, so if you have something particular in mind, ask us what’s possible before you rule it out.
As a natural timber product, some variation in grain, tone and knots between boards is normal, and that’s part of the character of real oak. Order a sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
Distilled Collection
Paloma is a warm honey-brown oak, open grain with ray fleck and scattered black knots.
Honey without orange, which is the difficulty with warm oaks. The ray fleck adds a fine pale figure across the grain and the black knots give it punctuation, so it stays interesting across a large floor.
Paloma is manufactured from slow-grown European oak sourced from Lithuania, from a mill holding current FSC certification. The region’s cold climate and long growing cycle produce a dense, stable board. Final finishing is completed here in New Zealand by local craftsmen, so the colour is matched to our own conditions.
