Sazerac

Our stunning Vienna Woods Sazerac boards are sourced from Slow Grown FSC-certified Lithuanian Oak.

The extreme cold winters in Lithuania slows the growth of the oak to produce a very hard, dense wood.

The extra long oak boards up to 2400mm bring a grand ambiance to any interior.

Available in a matt lacquer on 180mm wide boards.

This board gets its name from the cocktail the Sazerac. Believed to be the first cocktail ever, the Sazerac was created in 1838 by Creole apothecary Antoine Peychaud. It’s believed that he first served it in an egg cup called a coquetier, the origins for the word “cocktail”. The cocktail was named for Antoine’s favourite French brandy, the Sazerac-de-Forge et fils.
