How big are the timber flooring samples?
Our samples are cut from full-width planks so you can see the full board width, texture and edge detail. Lengths may vary depending on the product, but each piece is large enough to give you a realistic sense of how the floor will look.
Can I see larger panels as well?
Yes. Samples are a great starting point, but we always recommend visiting our Auckland showroom if you can. There you can see large format panels and completed floors, which show the natural variation across multiple boards.
Do the samples exactly match the finished floor?
Each sample is taken from real production boards, but timber is a natural material and some variation in knotting, grain and colour is normal. Use the samples to understand the overall tone, texture and finish rather than expecting every board to look identical.
Can you help me choose between options?
