AdmonterEuropean oak & larch, made in Austria

“Austrian timber, worked properly.”

Admonter is the Austrian floor we represent in New Zealand. Made by Admonter in Austria, it is European oak, larch and reclaimed timber worked to a high standard — natural-oiled floors and hand-textured wall and ceiling panels, from one of Europe's long-established timber houses.

Natural, oiled and made to last. The floors are engineered European oak and larch with a real timber wear layer and a natural-oil finish — a soft, matt, close-to-raw feel rather than a hard lacquer.

Floors, and more than floors. Alongside the oak and larch floors, Admonter makes reclaimed wall and ceiling panels — Galleria and Elements — with deep, hand-hacked relief for feature walls. Everything is made to order; allow around 4–5 months.

The Admonter ranges

Admonter is a brand, not a single floor. We carry its oak and larch floors and its reclaimed wall and ceiling panels — specifications vary by range, and each product page carries the detail.

A natural-oil finish

Admonter floors are finished in natural oil — a soft, matt surface that keeps the feel of raw timber and can be refreshed in place rather than sanded back. Care and installation guides sit on each product page, and we hold Admonter's CE Declaration of Conformity on file.

The Admonter selection

Admonter spans oak and larch floors plus reclaimed wall and ceiling panels. The selection below shows the range we carry — the line on each tells you whether it is a floor or a wall panel. Order a sample and see the timber in the room it is going in.

Common questions

Where is Admonter made?

In Austria, by Admonter — a named brand we represent in New Zealand, not a white-label. We hold the manufacturer's CE Declaration of Conformity on file.

Is it in stock?

Admonter is made to order. Allow around 4–5 months, and talk to us early about quantities for a project.

What is the difference between the floors and the panels?

The Oak and Larch lines are floors. Galleria and Elements are reclaimed wall and ceiling panels with deep, hand-worked relief, for feature surfaces rather than underfoot. Each product page says which it is.

As a natural timber product, variation in colour, tone and grain between boards — and against samples and on-screen images — is normal and to be expected.
