Heritage

Heritage reclaimed European oak flooring with a weathered, heavily textured surface

A Vienna Woods Collection

HeritageReclaimed European oak, finished your way

“Old timber, a second life.”

Heritage is our reclaimed oak collection. Genuine salvaged European oak, lifted from old buildings and given a second life as a floor. Each board carries the marks of its first use — saw cuts, old fixings, worn edges — so no two boards, and no two floors, are the same.

Built to lay flat, finished to your taste. The reclaimed oak face sits on a stable engineered base, so you get the character of old timber without the movement of solid reclaimed board. It arrives unfinished — raw — so you or your installer set the final look on site, from a soft oiled matt to a limed or smoked tone.

Made to order, in wide, mixed boards. Widths and lengths vary board to board — roughly 50 to 270mm wide and up to 2.2 metres long — which is part of the reclaimed look. Heritage is made to order; allow around 4–5 months, and talk to us early on quantities, as reclaimed stock is finite.

What Heritage is

Not a new floor made to look old. Heritage is genuinely reclaimed European oak, set on a stable base and supplied raw for you to finish.

Raw, ready to finish

Heritage boards arrive unfinished, so the final colour and sheen are yours to set on site — an oiled matt to keep it soft and natural, or a limed, smoked or darker tone to suit the room. A raw floor also means small repairs blend in over the years.

The Heritage characters

Five characters, from pale reclaimed timber through warm and rich oak tones to deep, smoky brown. As reclaimed timber, expect knots, old marks and real variation board to board. Order a sample and see it in the room it is going in.

Common questions

Is Heritage genuinely reclaimed?

Yes — the oak is salvaged reclaimed European timber (Willowcroft is another reclaimed timber), then set on a stable engineered base so it lays flat. The age, saw marks and old fixings you see are original.

Is it in stock?

Heritage is made to order. Allow around 4–5 months, and talk to us early about quantities — reclaimed stock is finite, so it pays to confirm availability before you specify.

How is it finished?

It is supplied unfinished. You choose the final oil, tone or sheen on site. As a reclaimed, natural timber product, variation in colour, grain and texture between boards is normal and part of the look.
