Raftwood

Heavily textured, hand-worked oak

Raftwood is oak at its most rustic.

The face is heavily worked so the grain stands right out, with open splits and knots filled by hand. It is a floor that wears its character openly — nothing about it is flat or uniform.

Deep brushing and hand-finishing pull the surface into real movement — ridges, hollows and colour shifts across the board. Filled knots and open grain read as part of the look, not a flaw.

Every colour is the same board: rustic-grade French oak, 15 mm engineered with a 4 mm wear layer, finished in natural oil.

The Raftwood look

What sets Raftwood apart from a lightly textured oak.

Heavy texture

A deeply brushed, hand-worked face with real ridges and movement underfoot.

Open splits & filled knots

Natural splits and knots are kept and hand-filled — part of the character, not hidden away.

Rustic & relaxed

A warm, lived-in surface for rooms that favour character over a flat, uniform floor.

Textured Oak Flooring with Depth and Character

Raftwood is a deeply textured oak floor defined by pronounced grain, natural movement, and a hand-finished surface. Created through intensive wire brushing, Raftwood timber flooring brings out the character of the wood on a stable engineered construction. Available in wide plank boards and patterned formats, this collection suits interiors that favour texture, warmth, and a relaxed, lived-in feel. Timber is a natural material: variation in colour, tone, grain and texture between boards — and against samples and on-screen images — is normal and to be expected.
