Routine Cleaning

Sweep or vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and grit. Clean with a pH-neutral wood floor cleaner, such as those from our FirstFloor range. Avoid harsh detergents or excessive water, as moisture can damage the timber.

Oiled Floors

Use a specialist timber soap to maintain the protective oil coating. Periodically reapply maintenance oil to refresh the surface and enhance resistance to wear. This preserves the natural texture and character of the timber.

Lacquered Floors

Clean with a lacquer-safe cleaner and consider applying a maintenance polish a few times a year to maintain sheen and durability. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
