Coco Herringbone
Designer: Kristen Basra, founder of Spatial Studio and an Auckland-based interior designer known for refined, textural interiors with strong material sensitivity.
Coco Herringbone is an engineered European oak parquet floor designed in collaboration with Kristen Basra as part of the ICONS Collection. It is defined by a balanced mid-brown tone with subtle smoky grey undertones, creating a refined and contemporary interpretation of classic herringbone flooring.
The colour is grounded and versatile, allowing Coco Herringbone to sit comfortably within both modern and traditional interiors. Natural knots and grain variation introduce depth, while the softly brushed surface adds texture without overwhelming the pattern.
The herringbone format brings rhythm and structure to the floor, making it well suited to spaces where architectural detail and material expression are key. Coco Herringbone pairs seamlessly with the matching wide plank format, allowing continuity of tone across different layouts.
