Oak Lapis

This beautiful smoked oak floor from renowned Austrian manufacturer Admonter, features stunning light to mid-brown tones and impressive depth of colour.

You can tailor this flooring for your living space, by choosing the desired knot level, texture and board size. This product is refined and fortified with a natural oil finish.

The very subtle micro-bevelled edge defines each individual floorboard, while perfect milling precision helps bring a premium atmosphere to the interior.

Smoking is a craft that creates a unique depth of colour on oak floorboards, with contrasting and lively tones that are full of character. This is achieved by an intense process where smoke reacts with the oak tannin to colour the wood. The final stage is an application of a tinted oil to create a beautifully natural work of art.

The Benedictine Abbey of Admont was founded almost 1000 years ago in the stunning alpine region of Styria, Austria. Wood has been milled at the Admont site since 1874 and while it was originally the monks who guarded the knowledge of wood, today it is Admonter’s 300 employees who take care of 100% of production in Admont, so that this fine tradition lives on

Admonter is now recognised as one of Europe’s most renowned natural wood flooring manufacturers; offering the absolute peak in wood craftsmanship, quality and beautiful design.

Admonter’s range of natural wood flooring and wood elements is 100% formaldehyde free.

Matching stair nosings and treads for open stairs are also available.
