Every board is a multi-ply engineered build in European oak, lightly brushed, with a 0.5mm micro-bevel and a tongue-and-groove profile, laid glue-down. Finish Matt lacquer or hard-wax oil, for custom colouring. Warranty 20 years residential.
Distilled is milled to order in Europe, so allow roughly 3-4 months from order, an estimate that can move with production and shipping.
The four formats above are what we run as standard, not the limit. Other sizes and profiles can be made to order, so if you have something particular in mind, ask us what’s possible before you rule it out.
As a natural timber product, some variation in grain, tone and knots between boards is normal, and that’s part of the character of real oak. Order a sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
Distilled Collection
Cosmopolitan is an olive-tinged greige-brown oak, with a cool grey wash pulled across open grain and black knots.
The olive cast is what makes it unusual. Under warm light it reads brown and settled; under a south-facing window the grey comes forward and the black knots sharpen against it. That movement is the point, so it wants a room with some natural light to play in.
Cosmopolitan is made in Europe from slow-grown Lithuanian oak, from a mill holding current FSC certification. The cold Baltic climate slows the oak’s growth, producing an exceptionally hard, dense and stable timber that suits both homes and commercial interiors.
It sits in the middle of the Distilled range: enough colour to be a decision, calm enough to live with for twenty years.
