Distilled Madras
Live stock for every format is in the Availability tab below — updated daily from our warehouse.
Every board is a multi-ply engineered build in European oak, lightly brushed, with a 0.5mm micro-bevel and a tongue-and-groove profile, laid glue-down. Finish Matt Lacquer or Hard Wax Oil. Warranty Structural integrity: 20 years residential / 5 years commercial.
Distilled is milled to order in Europe, so allow roughly 3-4 months from order, an estimate that can move with production and shipping.
The four formats above are what we run as standard, not the limit. Other sizes and profiles can be made to order, so if you have something particular in mind, ask us what’s possible before you rule it out.
As a natural timber product, some variation in grain, tone and knots between boards is normal, and that’s part of the character of real oak. Order a sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
Distilled Collection
Madras is a smoked driftwood oak, an even grey-brown tone with open grain and dark-filled knots.
The knots are filled dark and the grain stays open, which keeps a fairly even floor from looking flat.
Madras is made in Europe on a multi-ply engineered core, which holds its shape across a New Zealand year better than solid timber of the same width. A pre-finished lacquer protects the surface and holds a natural, low-sheen look.
The steadiest grey-brown in the range, and the easiest to match joinery to.
