Vesper

Our stunning Vienna Woods Vesper boards are sourced from Slow Grown FSC-certified Lithuanian oak.

The extreme cold winters in Lithuania slows the growth of the oak to produce a very hard, dense wood.

The 20mm thick boards feature a generous 6mm oak top layer. The wide and extra long oak boards up to 2400mm bring a grand ambiance to any interior.

Available in 180mm and 220mm wide boards.

Available in a matt lacquer or hard-wax oil finish. Finished in New Zealand by local artisans.

This board gets its name from the dashing Vesper cocktail. Created by Bond author Ian Flemming, the Vesper is full of style, precision and a hint of danger. Just as Bond orders in Casino Royale, the Vesper should include “three measures of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon peel. Got it?”
