Every board is a multi-ply engineered build in European oak, lightly brushed, with a 0.5mm micro-bevel and a tongue-and-groove profile, laid glue-down. Finish Matt lacquer or hard-wax oil. Warranty Structural integrity: 20 years residential / 5 years commercial.
Distilled is milled to order in Europe, so allow roughly 3-4 months from order, an estimate that can move with production and shipping.
The four formats above are what we run as standard, not the limit. Other sizes and profiles can be made to order, so if you have something particular in mind, ask us what’s possible before you rule it out.
As a natural timber product, some variation in grain, tone and knots between boards is normal, and that’s part of the character of real oak. Order a sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.
Distilled Collection
Tom Collins is a natural honey oak with flowing cathedral grain and a raw, matt surface.
This is oak looking like oak. No heavy stain, no smoke, just the timber’s own honey tone with the big arching cathedral figure left visible. The surface is matt to the point of looking raw, which is the current preference and a long way from the satin floors of twenty years ago.
Tom Collins is made in Europe from slow-grown Lithuanian oak, from a mill holding current FSC certification. The cold Baltic climate slows the oak’s growth, producing an exceptionally hard, dense and stable timber that suits both homes and commercial interiors.
The most natural-looking floor in Distilled, and the one that ages most gracefully.
