Oak Metz is a refined smoked oak floor, crafted with a hand-planed surface that offers a smooth, tactile feel underfoot. Finished with natural oil, it highlights the natural beauty of the timber while providing a durable, breathable protective layer.

This tone is characterised by a balance of natural oak hues and soft, smokey grey undertones—subtle, elegant, and versatile across a wide range of interiors. Inspired by the French city of Metz, the product reflects the quiet charm and craftsmanship of its namesake.

The finish is reinforced with silica for added resilience, ensuring long-term durability without compromising the natural aesthetic. Metz is part of the Flamingo Collection by Flamingo Parket—a Dutch manufacturer known for their distinct timber treatments and high-quality European production.

Each floor is made to order, with options available to suit your design intent: choose from standard or wide planks, Herringbone, or Chevron patterns, and specify board width, thickness, knot level and bevel detail.

This is genuine European oak, properly engineered and manufactured in Europe. Samples in the 220mm wide format are available to order within New Zealand. Please allow for lead time when specifying.
