Coco

Designer: Kristen Basra, founder of Spatial Studio and an Auckland-based interior designer known for refined, textural interiors with a strong sensitivity to material, tone, and proportion.

Coco is an engineered European oak plank designed in collaboration with Kristen Basra as part of the ICONS Collection. It is defined by a balanced mid-brown bark tone, softened by subtle smoky grey undertones that add depth and quiet warmth without overpowering a space.

The wide plank format enhances spatial flow and visual continuity, allowing the timber’s natural grain and gentle variation to take centre stage. Knots and movement are present but restrained, creating a composed surface with natural character.

A softly brushed surface treatment adds texture while maintaining refinement, and the low-sheen matt lacquer finish protects the timber without introducing artificial shine. Coco is designed to sit comfortably within both contemporary and classic interiors, offering longevity through material restraint rather than trend.

Coco is also available in a matching herringbone format, allowing continuity of tone across different floor layouts and spaces.
