Distilled Gimlet

Distilled collection
Formats & availability, all in this colour

Live stock for every format is in the Availability tab below — updated daily from our warehouse.

Every board is a multi-ply engineered build in European oak, lightly brushed, with a 0.5mm micro-bevel and a tongue-and-groove profile, laid glue-down. Finish Matt lacquer. Warranty Structural integrity: 20 years residential / 5 years commercial.

Distilled is milled to order in Europe, so allow roughly 3-4 months from order, an estimate that can move with production and shipping.

The four formats above are what we run as standard, not the limit. Other sizes and profiles can be made to order, so if you have something particular in mind, ask us what’s possible before you rule it out.

As a natural timber product, some variation in grain, tone and knots between boards is normal, and that’s part of the character of real oak. Order a sample to see the colour in your own light before you commit.

Distilled Collection

Gimlet is a pale blond oak under a cool grey wash, with bold cathedral grain and open pores.

The wash keeps the blond from going yellow, so it stays cool through the day. Cathedral grain gives each board a strong arching figure, and the open pores hold a little shadow, so the floor has texture underfoot as well as pattern.

Gimlet is made in Europe on a multi-ply engineered core, which holds its shape across a New Zealand year better than solid timber of the same width. The surface is pre-finished and low-sheen, so it protects the timber without adding gloss.

A light floor that doesn’t wash out. Good in rooms that already get plenty of sun.
