Admonter · Care for white oiled & matt-lacquered floors

A white-tinted clean for white and limed floors

This is the white-pigmented version of Admonter Clean & Care. It cleans a white-oiled or matt-lacquered floor the same way — 100 ml into 10 litres of water, mopped damp — while a touch of white pigment keeps the light, limed look fresh as you go. One litre makes up to 100 litres of cleaner.

For white or light floors — keep the mop damp

Use this on white-oiled or matt-lacquered light floors, where the white pigment suits the colour. On a natural or dark floor it can leave a light haze, so use the plain Clean & Care instead. Either way, wring the mop out well and never flood a timber floor — use two buckets, one to wash and one to rinse.

What it’s for

Everyday cleaning that keeps a white floor bright

White and limed floors can start to look flat and grey as everyday dirt settles into the surface. This cleans like the standard Clean & Care, but carries a little white pigment to keep the light tone looking fresh.

It’s a concentrate — 100 ml into 10 litres of water, and one litre makes up to 100 litres — so it goes a long way on regular upkeep.

How to use

Mix, mop, rinse

  1. Sweep or vacuum first to lift loose grit.
  2. Shake the bottle, then mix 100 ml into 10 litres of warm water, a 1:100 mix. For a spray-mop reservoir, 8 to 10 ml is enough.
  3. Use two buckets — one to wash, one to rinse — with a well-wrung cotton mop, not microfibre. Mop with the grain.
  4. Keep the mop damp, not wet, so the floor is nearly dry behind you. Let it air-dry.

Always dilute — don’t use it neat — and stick with a cotton mop rather than microfibre.

When to reach for it

Reach for it when

  • You’re cleaning a white-oiled or white/limed matt-lacquered floor.
  • A light floor is starting to look grey or flat from everyday dirt.
  • You want the upkeep clean to keep the white tone looking fresh.
