$75.00

Ciranova · Care for oiled floors

The deep clean before you re-oil

A deep cleaner for oiled and hardwax-oiled timber floors. It lifts dirt, grease and old soap residue that routine cleaning leaves behind, and opens up the surface so fresh maintenance oil bonds and penetrates evenly. Use it before you re-oil — not as an everyday clean, and not on lacquered floors.

For oiled floors, not lacquered

Ciranova Intensive Cleaner is built to deep-clean and open up oiled and hardwax-oiled timber before re-oiling. It is not for lacquered or varnished floors. Let the floor dry fully before you apply maintenance oil, and test a small area first if you are unsure of the finish.

What it’s for

The clean before you re-oil

An oiled floor that has been walked on for a while carries grease, grime and old soap residue that routine cleaning does not fully lift. Intensive Cleaner is the deeper clean that shifts it.

Just as important, it opens up the timber surface so fresh maintenance oil can bond and penetrate evenly — which is what gives a longer-lasting, more even result. Let the floor dry fully before you oil. It suits oiled and hardwax-oiled floors in homes and light commercial spaces; it is not for lacquered floors.

How to use

Deep-clean, dry, then re-oil

  1. Sweep or vacuum the floor to lift loose grit.
  2. Apply Intensive Cleaner with a mop or cloth to lift dirt, grease and old soap residue.
  3. Let the floor dry fully — this is what lets fresh oil bond and penetrate.
  4. Apply your maintenance oil once the surface is clean and dry.

Ciranova doesn’t publish a fixed dilution here — follow the current label, and always let the floor dry fully before re-oiling.

When to reach for it

Reach for it when

  • An oiled floor needs a deeper clean than routine soap gives.
  • You are about to re-oil and need a clean, bonded surface first.
  • Dirt, grease or old soap residue has built up on an oiled or hardwax-oiled floor.
Aftercare
