Unicare X-Matt lays a fresh matt protective layer — it does not clean a floor, so clean and dry the floor first. It is for matt finishes only (matt lacquer, UV-oil, laminate and LVT); it is not for gloss or satin finishes. Always test a small out-of-the-way patch first and let it dry before coating the whole floor.
A thin matt top coat takes the daily wear so the floor’s own finish does not — and keeps that soft, natural matt look.
Matt floors lose their look as fine scratches and wear build up in the surface. Unicare X-Matt lays a fresh matt protective layer over a clean floor to take that wear instead — Ciranova says it hides micro-scratches and keeps the finish looking as it should for longer.
It suits matt finishes across the board: matt lacquer, UV-oil, laminate and LVT. It is a top coat, not a cleaner, so the floor has to be clean, dry and grease-free before it goes on — anything left on the surface gets sealed in.
No diluting. Apply a thin, even coat along the grain over a clean, dry, grease-free floor with a microfibre cloth or mop.
If you want more protection, a second thin coat can go on after about an hour, once the first has dried.
X-Matt is a protective top coat — a dirty or greasy floor must be cleaned first, or the coat seals the dirt in.
Clean the floor, let it dry, then lay the matt coat — the two steps go together.
